What It Is

Epididymitis is an infection or inflammation in the epididymis, the coiled tube at the back of the testicles. Almost all cases of epididymitis are caused by a bacterial infection. Symptoms include abdominal pain, scrotal pain and swelling, painful urination, and discharge from urethra.

We do not require testing prior to beginning treatment, but we do encourage our patients to receive a test if treatment is not effective. All of our consultation and treatment services are completely confidential.
