What It Is

Acute bronchitis is a cough that persists for weeks, a month, or longer in some cases. For many patients, bronchitis is preceded by the common cold, influenza (flu), or an upper respiratory tract infection (URI).

For your safety, we cannot treat patients with high fever, pain or tightness in chest, difficulty breathing, and other severe symptoms. If these symptoms are present, we will refer you to an urgent care provider.
